I knew Moe since 1969. We worked together at The Province Newspaper in Vancouver until he moved to Prince George as Ad Director. I always kept in touch over the years. Visited Moe in Windsor and Hamilton. Moe introduced me to my FIRST Martini and laughed when I ordered a HAMBURGER with it. Moe was well respected in the business community and by all that knew him.
I will miss him especially his wit and HIS humour. When you GOGGLE "Maurice Pearson" on The Lawrence Welk Show singing "Blue Hawaii " and "Anniversary Waltz" you will enjoy his beautiful voice

Moe was brave enough to hire me and started my 42 year career in the advertising dept. of The Windsor Star. He was the toughest boss I had ever worked with and he got the best out of me for which I am forever thankful. Rest in peace Moe. You were a great leader.

I worked for Moe many years at The Windsor Star, I remember beating him in the finals of a company racquetball tournament. Returning to work the next morning I was summoned to his office with the rest of the staff where he presented me with a pink slip for termination with congratulations on your victory inside. It was followed by a cake presentation and a good laugh by all. He was always a joker and a fair man to work for. Sorry for your loss Dan.

Working at The Windsor Star in the Ad Department in the mid-70’s as an employee of Mr. Pearson provided good, lasting memories… which continued with Moe as a good customer when I left The Star to join the Reaume Chev/Olds family business. Rest in Piece my Friend. - Steve Reaume
