Obituary of Max Ford
Max passed away peacefully December 14, 2023 with his loving wife of 45 years, Deborah holding his hand.
Predeceased by his parents Max and Nancy Ford, Margaret McEwan, and brother Bobby in Scotland.
Max was loved and will be missed by his sister in law and brother in law Barb and Tom Hurlbut of Shediac NB.
Max was loved and will be missed by his siblings in Scotland, Elizabeth, Brian, Irvine, Allan, Veronica, Jacqueline, Jimmy and Yvonne and their families.
Max valued his many friendships both in Scotland and Canada. A proud Scot, he said one of his proudest days was when he became a Canadian Citizen.
Max retired from the G.M. Transmission Plant. He was known for his love of nature, the meticulous care of his lawn and his kindness and ability to talk to anyone. Max was an ardent and loyal fan of Glasgow Rangers and the Toronto Maple Leafs.

We cannot thank enough of the staff of ICU and 8 East, WRH – Ouellette Campus. You are Super Stars who treated us with dignity, kindness and compassion while providing impeccable care for Max.
Honouring Max’s wishes there will be no visitation or service. We will celebrate him at a later date.
