Barry Allan Skov

June 17, 1956 – December 14, 2023

It’s with heavy hearts the family of Barry Skov announces his passing on December 14, 2023.

Loving husband to Erin, his best friend, who after 25 years of marriage he still referred to as his bride.

Cherished father to Patrick Skov (Ana), Katie Skov, Kailyn Renaud (Jason), and Owen Hogan.

Grandpa to Olivia and Stacey (her adored “Bumpa”).

Remembered by his brother Brian Skov, and in-laws Kelly, Dale, Mike, Michele, Patrick (1996), Dave, and Jan.

Proud uncle to many nieces and nephews, and great-uncle B to Lola.

Predeceased by his parents Art (2009) and Pat Skov (2009). Dear son-in-law to Doris Mahon.

Barry is reunited with his beloved canine companion, Finlay.

Barry retired from GM Transmission after many years of dedicated service.

Barry will be missed by his neighbours in Emery Park who he loved to help. He loved to travel with his family and special friends. Barry was an avid golfer who will be missed by his friends and teammates at Pointe West and annual Myrtle Beach trip.

A Celebration of Life will be held on December 21, 2023 at Ciociaro Club with condolences at 11:00am and lunch at 12:00pm, all are welcome.

If desired, donations can be made in memory of Barry to the Windsor Goodfellows and Fight Like Mason.

As per his wishes, cremation has taken place.
