Obituary of Marty Weber

In loving memory of our father, Marty Weber, who passed away on November 24, 2023, after a battle with cancer. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Marty Weber, born September 17, 1958, the son of Martin Sr. and Patricia Weber, dedicated much of his life to his passion of golf, becoming a highly respected golf professional throughout the Sarnia, Toronto, and London areas. Known for his patience, encouraging spirit, and eagerness to share his deep knowledge of the sport, he became a cherished mentor to golfers of all ages. Many will fondly remember the countless lessons on perfecting their swing, the strategic advice on the course, and the camaraderie that defined the golfing communities he fostered. His daughters will fondly remember assisting him as caddies during tournaments, reading his putts, and cheering him on.

Beyond his professional achievements, Marty was a loving father to Kirsten and Kelly. He instilled in them the values of discipline, perseverance, and the joy that comes from pursuing one's passions. He was a man of character, dedicated to his work, a staunch supporter of the Toronto Maple Leafs, but most importantly to him, an incredibly proud father of his two daughters. As most would know, a conversation with Marty could start in many different ways but was sure to evolve into a heartfelt story about his girls and his profound pride in them.

Marty is survived by his cherished daughters, Kirsten (Jeffrey) and Kelly (Daniel). He will be missed by his family and friends, his sisters Mary-Ellen (Dan) Dion, Michelle Weber and his brother David Weber. His memory will forever live on in the countless lessons he taught, the values he instilled, and the love that continues to surround us.
