Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 67 on November 29th, 2023. Predeceased by his late wife Claire Carriere. Beloved father of Dominic (Tracy) and Julien (Dana). Proud Pépé of Ethan, Evan and Elle. Cherished sibling of the late Denis (1995), Gisele Laplante, Lucille “Lucy” Trepanier (Raymond), Colette, Elaine Oldfield, Anne Marie, and Yvonne Roelens (Paul). Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Thérése Soulliere (nee Leblanc). Loving godfather to Lisa Oldfield and Désirée Carbonneau. Survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Dearly missed by his many friends and his fur baby Colt.

After a successful hairdressing career, Lionel became a devoted employee of the Casino Windsor. Retired after 27 years of service, he devoted his time to his grandbabies, family, and friends who became family.
Forever remembered for his green thumb and being a master chef, he will be deeply missed.
Cremation has already taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
