Obituary of Robert Joseph Berlasty

Robert Joseph Berlasty  

September 26, 1949 – November 27, 2023   

It is with broken and loving hearts the family of Robert Berlasty announces his passing on November 27, 2023. Robert Berlasty joins his beloved wife and soulmate Lucille Berlasty in time for their 52nd wedding anniversary (November 29, 1971).   

Robert loved nature, helping others, and playing with his cat Eevie. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends, watching the news and game shows, reminiscing about the “good ol’ days,” collecting trinkets, and fighting for the things he believed in. Robert was a hardworking and determined man, strong in his convictions and gave everything he could out of love. He fought a courageous battle, but will now rest in peace, free of pain. He was an incredibly loving husband, father, Papa, brother, uncle, and a friend to many, who lives on in our hearts forever.  

His daughter, Beckie, would like to extend a special thank you to Allie and Cole, his best friends Mary & Richard, his daughter Laura and her children, his nephew Scotty, as well as his sisters Susie Shpak and Sharon Jones for all they did to be there for Robert, providing support, love, and companionship in the years and days leading up to his passing.   

Thank you to the nurses at Windsor Regional Hospital – Ouellette Campus, Hospice of Windsor, St. Elizabeth Home Healthcare, Dr. Dobosz, and his pharmacy team for their kind and compassionate care of Robert.   

As per Robert’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
