I was shocked to hear the passing of “Johnny “ I not only had the privilege to perform with him as band mates, but also as a good friend. Always loved to have a few beverages with and throw a frisbee while cracking up because of the character he was. He will truly be missed. I’m sorry I couldn’t have said goodbye.

John was a great guy. Nice to everyone. He was one of the more genuine people I worked with many years ago in my former life as a Tregaskiss employee. I always enjoyed talking music trivia and exchanging jokes with him. It's a shame to learn that he died at such a young age, after what should've been a successful and straightforward medical procedure. God bless his soul, and my condolences to his wife/partner, and extended family whom he left behind. Regards, Michael Horoky

John, you and I, we shared a special something, a special something that I didn't ever feel with anyone else ever before or ever since! We shared MUSIC, we shared OUR MUSIC to everyone! We shared OUR MUSIC and nobody could have been there at our moments of our collaboration, or could have ever known or felt the Pure Chemistry that you and I had together! YOUR LYRICS, & MY GUITAR CHORDS/SOLOS all fit together so perfectly and so naturally like Lennon & McCartney, and like Simon & Garfunkel, without even trying! We played MUSIC together to thousands upon thousands of people over the years, & we had such fun, such good memories together, but, most of all, I LOVED YOU as my own Brother, a Brother you never had, I felt as though we were that to each other! My condolences, was so sad to hear this. He was a great guy and always so friendly, with a nice smile on his face. He will be missed. Just sorry I never got to see him preform in the band, I hear he was very talented. My prayers to the family. May you rest in peace John.

I went to grade school with John at Taylor Public for a couple years in the mid 70,s . We are both from 1965 a few months apart . Too young to leave at 58. I only have good memories of him Laughing,Joking and Music as our paths crossed through the years .My sincere condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time .

John was the guy who enjoyed nothing more than making others laugh. His friendly demeanor made everyone he would meet feel comfortable. Working with him every day at Tregaskiss these 20+ years, the passing of my friend is a significant, unexpected loss. I know I was fortunate to know this guy called "Rocker".
