Obituary of Rose Marie Longmuir

 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Rose on November 26, 2023 at the age of 99.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter Carol and rejoin with Wayne (1955), Richard (2010) and Judith (2019). 

She is survived by her sister Rita and predeceased by her siblings Fred, Ernest, Herman and Freda. 

She will be mourned by her grandchildren Kim (John), Colleen (Bob), William Jr (2007), Bobbi (Jeff) and Chris. 

She will be missed by all her great grandchildren and her great-great grandchildren as well as her nieces and nephews. 

Rose was a hardworking individual who spent 25 years at Metropolitan Hospital as a nurses aide until she retired at the age of 65. She always put the needs of others ahead of herself. 

After her retirement she enjoyed playing bingo and taking mini vacations with her sisters. 

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the RPN’s and PSW’s at Extendicare Tecumseh for their dedicated care and compassion. 

A special mention to Gerard Clark for always making “Rosie Posie” smile and laugh everyday.
