Obituary of Lilly ‘’Lillian’’ Jeanne Wall

Lilly ‘’Lillian’’ Jeanne Wall

It is with great sadness the family of Lilly announces her peaceful passing, lovingly surrounded by her family, at the age of 91. Her final days were full of visits with family and friends sharing memories, sitting by her side and enjoying quiet moments.

Married for 52 years to Harold Daniel Wall (2007), loving mother to Sharon and Jerome Schiller, Dwayne and Deborah, Derrin and Nicole.

Cherished Grandma to Dylan (Lily), Derek, Ryan (Ashley), Brittney, Kaitlin and Great Grandma to Carley.

Survived by Brother Raymond (Carol) Thibert, and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Stephen & Marie Ange Thibert, and brothers Jean Paul Thibert & Donald Thibert.

Oh, those blue eyes and a zest for life for which she will be fondly remembered by family and friends.

Volunteering for The Heart and Stroke Foundation, Cancer Society, and lending a helping hand to people in the community when needed.

Homemaker and domestic engineer, Lillian loved to cook, bake and make everything homemade. Creative in sewing velvet outfits for her children, quilting, painting, paper tole, crocheting, gardening or joining husband with renovations and wood working projects around the house. She enjoyed playing Bingo (only when she felt lucky) – and she was good at sensing her luck.

Lillian was the wind beneath many wings. She had an open door and a cup of tea to get you through those  bumps in life. She will be dearly missed and we hope she is soaring with the birds and butterflies and enjoying every flower.

Finally reunited with the love of her life, Harold (2007) and her sweet dog Bijou.

A heartfelt thank you to faithful friend Diane for weekly visits after her stroke.

We are grateful to everyone who enriched her life.

A special thank you to the staff at Extendicare Southwood Lakes and Dr. Rukavina, for their compassionate care with our mom.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to Habitat for Humanityv Windsor- Essex, Brentwood Recovery Home or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

Cremation has taken place, a Graveside service will be held at Country Meadows  Cemetery (14997 Pinkerton Rd. Essex) on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 11:30 am,  followed by a Celebration of Life.
