Patrizia "Trish" Gemma Linda Piccolo

May 24, 1957 – November 21, 2023  

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear sister Patrizia Piccolo on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at the age of 66 years old. Predeceased by her parents Antonio and Maria Piccolo. Dear sister to Frank (Elena) Piccolo and Catherin (Christian) Holtkamp. Missed by her loving nieces and nephews Nadia (Michael), Anthony (Olivia), Johnny and Ella, grand nieces Gemma and Vienna, beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.   

The family would like to thank the Community Living Organization who cared for Patrizia after our parents passing. The support workers at Community Living Kingsville are the most loving and caring group who have cared for Patrizia the past seven years. We are so thankful for you all.   

We would also like to thank Patrizia's family doctor, Dr Valerie Hill and staff in Kingsville, as well as the doctors and nurses at Erie Shores Leamington hospital for all their wonderful medical care.   

If anyone would like to make a donation in honour of our sweet Patrizia, donations to Community Living Essex as well as the ICHA would be greatly appreciated. 

Patrizia was one of the first original members when ICHA started. There were only 35 children in 1989 when the ICHA separated from the Caboto Specials. Patrizia was also a member of the Ontario Special Olympics during her time with the ICHA. Patrizia loved playing Bocce and listening to oldies music.

A Memorial Mass and luncheon will be held for Patrizia at a later date to be announced.
