GEAUVREAU, Hermina (nee Tinus)
October 25, 1953 – November 17, 2023
It is with broken hearts that we announce of the passing of Hermina in her 70th year surrounded by her family. Predeceased by Tom Carter (2003) and Jim Geauvreau (2022). Beloved daughter of Elisabeth and Anton (2016). Tinus. Lovingly devoted mother to Tom Carter (Bonnie), Lisa Carter, Mark (Stefanie) Geauvreau, and Brett Geauvreau. Proud grandmother to Alysha Geauvreau, McKenna Carter, Kai Carter, Koen Carter, Nathan, and Christian Anderson. Loving sister to Ann Girardin (Keith) and Rosemary Tinus. She will also be sorely missed by many nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
Hermina was born in Yugoslavia. She immigrated to Canada in 1956 with her parents, Oma, and uncle. Hermina had a very hard life, but she was a very strong woman. Hermina had a heart of gold and would selflessly do anything for anyone. She truly was a beautiful soul. Hermina was extremely proud of her family and cherished her friends dearly. Hermina loved Christmas, Elvis, sunshine, beaches, sunrises and sunsets, gardening, and getting together with family and friends. She was a firecracker right till the end!
As per Hermina’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
A Private Family Service and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
