Betty Jean Appleyard (nee Leach)

December 6, 1952 – November 14, 2023

Betty Jean will be missed by her cherished husband and soulmate of 50 years Tom Sr.

Dear daughter of the late Edward and Ethel Leach.

Dear daughter-in-law to Gail Appleyard and the late Reg Appleyard.

Loving mother to Lisa-Marie (Jay LaLonde) and Tommy “T.O” Jr.

Forever remembered by her siblings Dennis Leach (Sandra), Robert Leach, Lynda-Mae Leach, David Leach (Lisa), Judy Nicholls (Mike), Jayne Deneweth (Mike), Barbara Plante (Cliff). Predeceased by her brothers Ivan Leach and Edward Leach Jr. Sister-in-law to Roger Appleyard (the late Rebecca) and Chris Appleyard (Debbie).

Betty Jean will also be deeply missed by many nieces and nephews.

Betty and her husband Tom enjoyed venturing to various racetracks all over Ontario. Beyond her love for Survivor and Big Brother, she was a kind and compassionate soul who cherished every moment she spent with her family.

As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place On December 29, 2023 from 3-7 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 255 Riverside.
