Obituary of Deborah Ann Banks

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Deborah Banks after a short illness. Our beloved Deb has joined daughter, Shannon Banks (1990) in their eternal life. Pre-deceased by parents, June and Gerald Clancy, and sister, Colleen Clancy. Fondly remembered by her siblings Michael, Ted (Kathy), and Katie (Mark). Special Aunt to Ted and Jake Clancy, Patrick (Sarah), and Godmother to Meagan (Carley) Wilhelm. Great aunt to Rowan Clancy, and her special Shih Tzu of 12 years Sugar.
She had a zest for life like no one, and had accomplished so much in her life. Her thirst for learning and knowledge never ceased. She took the role of a leader and ran with it. She touched so many lives with her coaching, mentoring and was an advocate for woman, and her passion for making a difference in the lives she touched. Deb did this through her long career with CIBC, and working for the national chapter for MADD for 13 years.
The family wants to thank Met campus ICU for taking such good care of her, the Roseville Clinic (Marg), and her special friend Beth and Sue for their years of friendship.
Cremation has taken place, and a private burial service will take place at a later date.
