Obituary of Delores Allen

It is with a heavy heart and much sorrow the Allen family announces the passing of Delores Allen at the age of 91. Delores was a Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister and Friend. Loved by all who knew her. She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years James Allen and survived by her 4 children Judy Murphy, Thomas Allen, Douglas Allen and Raymond Allen, as well as son in-law Gary Murphy, 4 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.

In addition to her surviving family Delores will be remembered for the many ways she impacted her larger community. Be it her business as a dog groomer or her work with the Salvation Army for many years. No matter how busy she was though one could always find her among the first at church on Sunday mornings.

Delores spent her final years at Mount Hope Center where she no doubt brought laughter and joy to everyone she met. All who knew Delores will remember her with fondness and gratitude for having known her.
