Obituary of Margaret Mary Laur

Laur, Margaret (Blanchette).

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Margaret Laur 86 at WRH Ouellette Campus on Oct. 19, 2023 with her loving family by her side.

Predeceased by her dear beloved husband of 70 years, Lester Laur (1986).

Predeceased by her parents Oliver and Lillian Blanchette, brothers Jim, Gerry and sister Annette.

Dear mother of son Lester Jr. and wife Laurie, son Richard and daughter Karen.

Dearest Gramma to April, Brian, Luke, Bailey Jean (Christopher), Richard Jr. and Lester.

Dearest Great Gramma to Ryder, Emily, Jonathan, Elizabeth, and Ella (all of Windsor).

Survived by many nieces and nephews.

Sadly, missed by her cat Lily.

Donations to Windsor Humane Society, would be appreciated.

According to her wishes there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place.

 A private family service was held at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.

Our lives will go on without you but nothing will be the same. We’ll have to hide our heartaches when someone speaks your name. Sad are the hearts that love you, silent the tears will fall. Living our lives without you is the hardest part of all.  You did so many things for us, your heart was kind and true, and when we needed someone we could always count on you.  The special years will not return when we are all together. But with the love within our hearts you will walk with us forever.
