Obituary of Karin Marie Waggott

It is with heavy hearts the family announces that Karin Marie Waggott (Brimner) passed away peacefully on October 10th, 2023 with her loving family by her side. Karin was the daughter of the late Douglas and Grace Brimner and beloved wife of the late Donald Waggott (2008) son of the late William Waggott and survived by Louise. Her memory will forever be cherished by her children Cameron (Kristy), Curtis (Heather), Ashley (Gurpreet) and grandchildren Donald and Valen.

Karin was a loving sister to the late Kevin (late Virgina), Chris (Sue), Jeff Brimner and beloved sister-law to Linda (Joe) Peters, the late Laurie (Brad) Martin and Lana (Danny) Raffoul.

Karin will be dearly missed by her extended family and friends.

Karin was a lifelong member of the Harrow Fair Board and involved with minor hockey. She enjoyed cooking, baking, playing board games and had a passion for painting. She was an avid antique collector and enjoyed discovering her family genealogy. She shared her passion for baking and board games with her grandchildren, making the best birthday cakes and teaching them Yahtzee.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Dr.Burgess, the medical team and volunteers at Erie Shores for their care, compassion and kindness afforded to the family and friends.

The children of Karin wish to thank her best friend Mary St. John for her daily visits, support, and care shown to both Karin and the family and staying by her side at Hospice until her passing.

As per Karin’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life memorial luncheon will take place on October 28th, 2023 at the Harrow Agriculture Building (134 McAffee St, Harrow) from 12 PM to 4 PM. A private interment will take place for immediate family.
