Obituary of Matsuye "Matsy" Yako

Matsuye Yako passed away on September 23, 2023.  Matsy was predeceased by her husband Jim, daughter Cheryl and son Tony.

She was a lifetime member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church, led the Chatham Japanese Group during the active years of Festival of Nations and enjoyed knitting/crocheting/gardening, & bowling in her later years.

She will be fondly remembered by son,  grandchildren, great grandson, nieces, nephews

Cremation has taken place as per her wishes and will be laid to rest with Jim at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.

Prayers will be at Holy Trinity Church (81 Selkirk Street, Chatham, Ontario) at 10 am Wednesday, October 4, 2023.
