Obituary of John Francis Kehoe

KEHOE, John Francis
October 7, 1963 - September 21, 2023

John Francis Kehoe passed peacefully on September 21st, 2023 with his devoted sister Ann Marie by his side, at the age of 59. He will be dearly missed by his brothers David, Tom (Sue Johnston) and sisters Ann Marie Kehoe-Martel, Jennifer Levins, Judy Fox, sister-in-law Aurora Kehoe, brother-in-law Patrick Fox, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents William and Yvonne Kehoe, brother Peter Kehoe, brothers-in-law Peter Martel, Don Levins and nephew William Martel. John began his career at the early age of 16 as a hand inserter at the Ottawa Citizen newspaper.  He moved up the ranks to becoming a Machine Operator where he remained at the Ottawa Citizen until he moved to the Windsor Star in 1997. John loved the outdoors and spent many years hunting at the family's Wooden Gun Hunt Club. He loved fishing and took every opportunity to cast a line. His love of golf was shared with his brother Tom. They played many courses in southern Ontario and later spent hours playing together online. John was passionate about luxury automobiles  - owning many different cars, trucks, and motorcycles over the years. He loved a good road trip which suited him well for travels between Windsor and Ottawa.  As a young man, John enjoyed his first motorcycle as a teenager and more recently upgraded to his coveted Harley Davidson. The family would like to thank Dr. Bertram, Dr. Lewis, and Dr. A for their compassionate care and support over the years.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in John's memory be made to The Centre for Addictions and Mental Health.
