Surrounded by love, after a long hard fought battle with cancer, our beloved husband, father, Papa and great Papa, went to be with his true love. Predeceased by his loving wife Noreen (nee Laframboise). Our dad will be so missed by his children, Michelle (Jamie) McDermott, and Michael (Melissa) Ostrander. His adored grandchildren, Jake Watters (Emma Willis), Jessi McDermott, Ryan Ostrander, Mya Ostrander and only Great grandchild Jax Watters.  Especially missed by his best friend and fur baby Princess.  Our dad had a love for the outdoors, a round of  golf, a good ball game and a cold Coors Lite.  As per James' wishes cremation has taken place.  Arrangements entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE (Essex) 519-254-2585.  A private family service will be done at a later date.  In true dad fashion,as per his wishes nothing fancy. so please join us in his celebration of life on Wednesday September 27th at the Essex Legion from 4:30-8:00 p.m., dinner at 6:00 p.m., and a tribute to follow at 7:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Erie Shores Hospice.  A heartfelt thank you from the family to Erie Shores Hospice and Dr. Burgess for their patience and understanding of our dad as well as his home care nurse Jennifer.
