Obituary of Larry David LaCroix

LaCroix, Larry David

April 30, 1945 - September 15, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Larry David LaCroix announces his passing on September 15, 2023 at the age of 78.

Cherished father to Tammy Bontorin (Al), Tina LaCroix Radigan, and their mother Annette Beecroft (Wayne). Proud Grandpa to Michelle, Anthony (Stephanie), Christian and Connor. Loving brother to the late Brian LaCroix, Luann Hebert (Hugh), Robert LaCroix (Arlene). Former son-in-law Sean Radigan. Larry will be dearly missed by his extended family and friends.

Larry retired after 35 years from Enwin Utilities and worked part time for the South Windsor Shoppers Drug Mart. Larry loved teaching the Electrical Safety program to students at local schools. He was the President of the South Windsor Fastball League for many years and was passionate about umpiring behind the plate. He enjoyed golf, bowling, fishing, watching his Montreal Canadians and episodes of MASH. Larry was the number one fan to his grandchildren’s sporting events, attending every game even at 6am. Larry was a long time member of the South Windsor Knights of Columbus and the Royal Canadian Legion.

A sincere and heartfelt thanks to Chartwell Royal Marquis for their brief but meaningful support and welcoming Larry into their community. If you so desire to donate to the liver and heart foundation, the family would be much appreciated. At Dad’s request, cremation has taken place with a small immediate family service at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.

An open house Celebration of Life will take place on October 1, 2023 at the Fogolar Furlan, 1800 North Service Road, from 1-4pm. All welcome to join the family and share in their memories of Larry.
