Obituary of Samuel Robert Corken

After a courageous battle with cancer, Sam passed away peacefully, August 29, 2023 with his family at his side. He is predeceased by his parents Samuel (1970) and Margaret Gray (1983) and his brother Tom (2000). Sam leaves behind his wife Victoria (Blak), daughter Kristina Bouloukos, sons Robert (Michelle), Thomas (Colin), Alex (Kelcey), granddaughters Lexis Bouloukos and Kaitlyn Corken, and sister-in-law Kathleen Corken. 

Sam served with the Toronto Police Services for 36 years. He loved to travel with his wife to Europe, Australia and the Islands. He retired to Amherstburg, Ontario and loved spending his time in his backyard oasis with his dog Toby. 

The family would like to thank Windsor Regional Hospital Emergency and Oncology departments and the Toronto Trillium Health Partners for their care and compassion through his hard fought battle. 

As per Sam’s wishes there will be no service, but there will be a celebration of life at a later date.
