Obituary of Martin Gemmink

Martin passed away on August 22, 2023 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Barbara (Parsons Gifford) Gemmink and the late Lisa Gemmink (2008). He will be missed by his children Peter and Paul (Marja); his sister's Tonny (Loek Schaap) and Margaret (Jacob Vanveen); his niece Franciska Gorden and nephew Jacob Jr. Vanveen. Much loved by step-grandchildren Julie (Ron Way) and Mary (John D' Amico). Loving grandfather to Geoffrey (Melanie Bernardo), Stephanie (Roger Cote), Danielle Bernardo, Christine (Robert) Gemmink Service, Michael and Nicholas Gemmink; step- grandchildren Benjamin and Nicholas. Missed by great-grandchildren Hailey, Noah and Francesca and Sofia. Martin was predeceased by his daughter Ann Bernardo (2020), sister Mik Busch and brother Ton. He will be dearly missed by many relatives in the Netherlands who are the offspring of Mik Busch and Tonny (Loek Schaap). Cremation has taken place. A private interment will occur at a later date. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation may be made to the charity of your choice.
