Obituary of Larissa Micak

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Larissa Micak at Extendicare Southwood Lakes in Windsor, Ontario at the age of 101 on August 22, 2023 with her daughters, Lia Tesolin (Frank) and Vicky Makila (David), by her side. Larissa was predeceased by her husband Walter Micak. Cherished grandmother of Veronica Tesolin Creamer (Matthew), Chris Makila (Emily) and Jennifer Tesolin. Loving great-grandmother of Mason and RIley Creamer. Larissa was born in Estonia and met her husband Walter in England. They moved to Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario where they were active in the community including the Community Concert Association, German Austrian Association and the Lions and Lionettes. Larissa often provided piano accompaniment at church and various functions.. She was well known for her fabulous tortes. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has already taken place.
