Obituary of Daniel Maurice Derby

Daniel Maurice Derby: 

Passed away from cancer on August 21, 2023, at 71 years of age.  Beloved husband of Mary (Cameron) with whom he celebrated 15 years of marriage.  Loving father of Jeff, Shelly and Daniel.  Special friends of Bernie and Bijou Renaud. 

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lillian, brothers Randy (Julie) and Jay (Lori). 

Dan, the Derberator,  loved  deep sea scuba diving.  He dived through Devil’s Throat at 130 feet with his brother, Randy, and his LaSalle buddies in Cozumel, Mexico. 

Dan will be greatly missed by his furry felines, Kahlua and Baby Girl. 

Dan was honest, trustworthy and would give you the shirt off his back.  He loved to make his famous cabbage rolls for family and friends.
