Obituary of Eugene Cloutier

CLOUTIER, Eugene Armand (Gene O, Chicken Man)

76 years old. August 21, 2023 Gene went to be with his Lord and Saviour at home with his family by his side after a lengthy and courageous struggle with his health.  Son of the late Louis and Jeannette Cloutier, beloved husband of Trudy (Berry) for 54 years. Loving father of Douglas and wife Danielle of Windsor and Danny of Kingston. Loving Grandpa to four grandchildren whom he adored spending time with; Ashley, Emma, Matthew and Rory. Dear brother to the late Ken Cloutier, Joyce Kritzer and the late Ron, Mary-Lou and husband Leo Goyeau. Gene will be sadly missed by his many nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. The family is very appreciative of the love and support shown during the last year.  Gene was a faithful attendee at Grace Baptist Church for 30 years. Gene was employed at Chrysler for 36 years. He loved his many camping trips, loved going to auto shows or trips to car lots with his sons to check out new vehicles and his favourite sports teams as well as card games cribbage and euchre. The family would like to thank all the medical staff for the excellent care he has received over the last few years both in the hospital and at home. Memorial visitation will be held at the Victoria Greenlawn Funeral Home (1525 Highway 3 Oldcastle, ON) on Thursday, August 24, 2023 from 10am until time of memorial service at 11am.
