Obituary of Elton George Emslie



Passed away peacefully on August 13, 2023 at home, with his family at his side. Beloved husband of the late Nancy( Aug 26 2022) Dear father of Lori (Denis), Rick (Patti), and Keith (Gina). Grandfather Nicole, Steven, Melanie, Melissa, DJ, Jill and Jeremy. Great Grandfather to Hailey, Mitchell, Godfey, Jax, Hudson, Brooklyn, Serenity, Sydney, Jade, Kurtis, and Corbin.  Predeceased by siblings Orville Ashley, Delbert Ashley, Coolidge Ashley, Malcolm Emslie, Eunice Bourdeau (nee Emslie). He will be missed by siblings Rodger Emslie, and Grant Emslie and  by many nieces and nephews. Elton and Nancy were long time seasonal campers at Ravine Cottages (Kingsville), where they have created many friends. Elton was a very funny person and loved practical jokes. He loved music and playing drums, guitar and piano. He also loved to fish, play golf and play pool/billiards. A celebration of life will take place at the Lion’s Head Tavern on Lauzon and Wyandotte on Sunday Aug 27 from 12:00-3:00pm.  If you desire, donations to Hospice of Windsor would be greatly appreciated.
