Obituary of Zenon Mehenka

After a life well lived, Zenon Mehenka passed away peacefully on August 8, 2023. Zenon was born in Poland on December 1, 1937 and came to Canada as a child with his parents, (Olga and Joseph). He was the first to graduate from university and was a physics teacher at W.D. Lowe High School for more than 25 years. Zenon enjoyed nature, reading, loved to share a good story and was incredibly generous. He loved nothing more than spending time with his family. Zenon is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Anne, who will miss him dearly, his sister Lida and his three children Christopher (Cindy), Karen (Paul) and Michael (Sandy). He leaves behind six grandchildren; Sebastian, Keinan, Collin, Mitchael, Chloë and Hayley. Cremation has taken place. There will be a small service at a later date for immediate family members only.
