Obituary of John Southward Kneale
The unforgettable John Southward Kneale, 73 of Windsor Ontario, passed away on July 18th, 2023.
John was born in Runcorn, Cheshire England on June 24, 1950, to his parents John Southward Kneale and Joyce Kneale. He is loved by his older sister Joyce Tremaine and two younger brothers David Kneale (Carol) and Peter Kneale (Pat). Predeceased by brother-in-law, Ed Tremaine.
John has two children, Natalie Kneale and Robert Kneale (Liz). He leaves behind seven grandchildren, Tenisha, Shyla, Ayden, Blake, Thomas, Daniel, and Adam and two great grandchildren, Riley and Kyiah. He was a very special “UJ” and “Chicken John” to Elizabeth (Jeff), Sarah (Chuck), Jack, Henry, Isla, and Ramsey.
John was a pillar of strength and positivity. He was the first call for help to fix something or haul a load. His caring ways were unmatched. He put everyone first, especially animals. Birds and dogs made sense to him. Cars were his passion. He was always last to leave a party usually needing to be prompted by “cue words”. He fascinated everyone he met. His stories were entertaining, exhilarating, completely unbelievable, exhausting, and hard to keep up with. From living with Aboriginal tribes to fostering a homeless man in his beloved pigeon coop, the stories were endless. He has left a giant mark on this world and will never be forgotten. Rest in peace dear John, rejoice with your Niki. You will be forever missed.
