Obituary of Dorothy Ada Hanke

It is with a profound sense of sadness and loss and yet of gratitude and joy, that we announce the peaceful passing of Dorothy on July 12, 2023 at the age of 95 (a milestone of which she was extremely proud).

Loving wife of 41 years to Jack Hanke (1989).  Our mom leaves to cherish her memory, Karen and husband Bob Ross, Richard and wife Linda (Linda's son Darren (Meredith) and their daughters Laiken and Brynn) and Janis and husband Tom Slahta. Pre-deceased by infant daughter Patricia (1964).

Precious grandma to Douglas Pare, Michelle Labusch and Matthew Slahta. Very special "GG" to Isabelle Pare and Lilly and Elin Labusch. 

Dear daughter of Charles and Ethel Soanes (nee Bland)  and devoted 'little sister" to Thomas (2017) (late Anne) and George (late Eileen).  "Aunt Dot" will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and close friends.

Treasured friend and confidante to Mildred (Millie) Horen for more than 70 years.
