Obituary of Loretta Maryann Ferris

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Loretta Maryann Ferris in her 88th year. She fought hard until the very end. She often told us she loved her life and did not have many regrets. She was predeceased the love of her life, John Baynton. The Baynton Family has many fond memories of Loretta. Her many nieces and nephews will remember great times with Aunt La.

Sorella made us all laugh and fed us well with her Lebanese cooking. Loretta enjoyed many lifetime friends including people from working in Detroit, the Tunnel Bus and her neighbours.

We would like to thank the medical team of 4 North at Met Campus. Their care and dedication to Loretta made her final days peaceful. Especially, we would like to thank Nurse Katie.

And more, much more than this, she did it her way.
