Leo welcomed me into the family, with his wonderful warmness. My best memories are Leo out at the barbecue, teaching a person raised on old school British fare how to love Greek food. Thank you Leo.

Leo was like a second father to me, I’ve been best friends with his daughter Darci since we were 5 and I have a lot of memories of him. From him rescuing us from her tree house, squeezing into his car to go on errands, checking out his nightclub (during the day), giving us pocket change for penny candy, saving us from almost drowning.. I could go on and on.. he was always a happy/funny guy and he will truly be missed.

Leo was a good friend to the Daskalakis Family. We all adored him. We loved watching him play soccer with Hellenic and he loved us so much that he gave us our first and only dog, a huskie, that we named Zorba. Leo will always be in our hearts. Leo was my brother-in law, and my brother. He was a hard worker and a go-getter. Being a quiet person myself, I have never met anyone so outgoing, friendly and social. I learned so much from him in his company at.that time spent with him in his garage business. He was also a fabulous host. I miss him.

Leo, was my coach, and as I grew older a friend.
He took such joy in being our coach, and when you do something you love, you do it well!
Leo did it very well!!!
Windsor Visa’s!!!
We were all so proud to be a part of that team.
With our matching sweatsuits and jackets!!!
Leo was alway top shelf, first class.
And as young as we were, we new that we were part of something top shelf. He made us believe that we were top shelf, cause that’s how he coached us.
I will always have the greatest memories from those times.

Dear Kourelias family,
I am so sad to hear of Leo’s passing. We worked together for several years. He shared so many stories of his experiences throughout his life. And it was a full life!

I remember Leo as a pleasant man with a ready smile. Although I met him late in his life, when I would help him as a PSW in Bruce Rest Home, I remember his great pride at being a coach to so many young soccer players. He was THE COACH!! He took great pleasure in sharing his memories of his coaching career. My deepest condolences to Leo's family in the loss of this special man. I will remember him fondly.
