Obituary of Carol Renaud
It is with great sadness that the family of Carol Dianne Renaud (nee Dufault) announce her passing on May 27, 2023 surrounded by her family. Carol will be forever missed by her one and only love, whom she just celebrated 60 years with, Ronald. Her children, Ronald Jr. (Michael), Kimberly Schaefer (Mike). Her sister Annette Levesque (Larry) and brother Richard Dufault. Waiting for her with a new deck of euchre cards is her brother Ronald (Joanne), sisters Jo-Anne (Albert) and Janine. Cherished Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Adored great-aunt to Colin, Owen and Lucas and special fur-mom to Benjamin. Carol will be missed by her best friend Carrol D’Agnolo, special friend to Darlene Santarossa, Dave & Sandy McCloskey and many more. Carol spent her years after retirement from GM Trim Plant, doing the things she loved – spending time with her family and knitting and crocheting. Thanks to her generosity, and the generosity of the ladies of Solidarity Towers, many children in our community had hats, gloves and scarves to keep them warm. We would like to thank all of Carol’s nurses and PSW’s who helped in ways we can never repay back, Cecilia, Sue, Yvette, Lisa, Renee, Michelle, Nicole and Madeline. A special thank you to Dr. Bleyndal and Dr. Annes for your kindness and compassion as well as Dr. Rukavina and the nurses of Hospice. At Carol’s request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held July 30, 2023 from 1-4 pm at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 255. In memory of Carol, donations may be made to Windsor/Essex County Humane Society or Erie Wild Life. “To the world you may be one person; but to the one person you may be the world.” Dr. Seuss
