Obituary of Mary Elisabeth Jewell

Mary Elisabeth Jewell Mary Beth "Mare" Passed away peacefully on May 25th at Hospice of Windsor with her sister by her side. Daughter of the late Mary and Edward Jewell. Sister of Grace Ann Armstrong and the late Ronald (1984) and Kay (2022) Jewell,Calgary, Alberta. Aunt of Arthur Armstrong, Lindsay and Shawn Coates, Carstairs, Alberta and Danny Jewell. Great Aunt of Aidan Coates. Cousin of Brian (Elaine 2018) Casey, Gary & Rita Casey, and Sheila and Paul Peltier. Special friends Sharon Houlahan, Barbara Hogan, Jackie Cullion and Mary Margaret Holden. After Graduating from Forster C.I. Mary Beth left Windsor and moved to New York city where she was an Executive Secretary at R.C.A. Records and C.B.S. Fox. After Many years in the big apple she moved upstate to Kingston,New York where she owned and operated The Good Buy Girl Boutique until she retired. She returned home to Windsor to spend time with her family and friends. Mare's favourite time was watching the lake freighters and salties sail the Detroit River and the beautiful birds that flew over Peche Island. She will always be remembered for her quick wit and crazy sense of humour. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Mary Beth's family would like to thank the staff and volunteers of hospice for the loving care and compassion she received on her final journey in life.
