Obituary of Marie Eleanor Nutt

Mom celebrated her 100th birthday with light in her eyes and a smile for each of us then slowly faded away. She has joined her husband, George (2005), her parents Daniel and Annie Koslack of Beausejour, MB, her brothers Michael (Bernice), Patrick (Audrey) and infant grandson, Ricky Lott. She is survived by her daughter Sandra Lott, much loved son-in-law Larry, grandchildren, Cindy Lavin (Bill), Dan Lott, dear great grandsons, Eric and Ryan Lavin and nieces and nephews in Winnipeg and Windsor. Mom shared her endless talents with all of us and we each have a memento to remember her by, be it an oil painting or a knitted item. She sewed her first garment at 9 years of age and her last at the age of 96, but her birthday cake was very special and lives on. Thank you to the amazing caregivers and staff at Extendicare Tecumseh - Oldcastle section, you are truly angels of mercy. A private remembrance and cremation has taken place. Sleep well Mama, you were truly loved and will be missed. Memorial donations may be made in Marie's memory to Childcan, the Ronald McDonald House in Windsor or to the Make a Wish Foundation.
