Obituary of Velma Elizabeth Miller

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Velma E. Miller on December 9, 2019, at HDGH - Dr. Y. Emara Centre in Windsor, Ontario. Born in North Minto, NB, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Minnie (nee Tucker) Quigley. Beloved wife of the late Harold "Junior" Miller. Loving mother of Dana Miller (Robin), Beverly Turner (Jim) of Windsor, ON, Tanya Nazarian of Kingston, ON, Heather Covey and the late Sheldon Miller. She also leaves behind her six beautiful grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Dear sister of; Harold Quigley of Minto, NB, David Quigley of Leamington, ON and Gerry Quigley (Andre Chayer) of Ripples, NB. Sister-in-law of Doreen Swift of Hardwood Ridge, NB, Barbara Harrison of Cumberland Bay, Sharon Miller of Coal Creek, Georgina Miller of Chipman, NB and Burtis Miller (Theresa) Coles Islands, NB. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends in Chipman and area. Predeceased by her brothers; Donnie, Jackie, Corby Quigley, her sister Margaret Cosman and sister-in-law Faye Quigley. Her favorite pass times were spending time with family and friends, bowling, bingo, and the Musical Jam Sessions in Jemseg, NB and of course she loved to cook and was very good at what she did. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Velma's life will take place on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Glenwood United Church, 1825 Grand Marais Rd. W., Windsor, ON at 2:30 p.m. A graveside service to be held in the spring. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Velma to Transition to Betterness (T2B).
