Obituary of Florence Shewchuk (nee Barbaza)

Passed away peacefully with family by her side at Windsor Regional Hospital - Met Campus on December 03, 2019 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late John Shewchuk (2010). Dear and cherished mother of Glen (Kelly). Loving grandmother of Max (Brittney) and Jesse and loving great grandmother of Maximus and Dakota. Survived by her brother William Barbaza (Sonja). She will be sadly missed by Barb Allardyce, Victoria Kalushny and Ida and Dan Butterfield. Predeceased by Michael Barbaza (Mary), Harry Barbaza, Helen Walchuk (Mike), Alexander (Stella), Katherine (Bert) Peters, Violet Ann, Mary and Peter (Louise). Florence is also survived by her dear nieces Yvonne Barbaza and Kathy Allen (William) and nephews Mark and Scott Shewchuk. Florence was a member of Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church - Sarnia involving herself with church bingo's, bazaars and the Ladies Auxiliary. At Florence's request, cremation has taken place with no service or visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
