Obituary of Ivan Stephen Philip Soroka

Passed away peacefully on November 30, 2019 after a brief illness at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Sharon (nee Quick) for 51 years. Predeceased by his mother Olga (2004). Also predeceased by his sisters-in-law; Karen Volger (2019), Donna Quick (2019) and brother-in-law Victor Volger (2017). Survived by brother-in-law Wayne Quick and several nieces and nephews. Ivan retired from Chrysler in 1997 after serving in management for 32 years. Always a sport enthusiast whether playing or watching. Golf and boating topped his list. Ivan will be missed by his many friends at Legion 594. Because of his love over the years for his many special pets, memorial donations may be made to the Windsor-Essex County Humane Society. At Ivan's request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Arrangements entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE CREMATION CENTRE (519-254-2585).
