Obituary of Gloria Ann Callander (nee Larkin)

With broken hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Gloria on October 26, 2019 with her loving family at her side after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 69. Predeceased by her beloved husband Colin Callander (2001). Much loved mother of Randy Civin, Lisa Pascua (Dave) and Julie Zannella (Luca). Cherished grandma of Ashley, Hailey, Joshua, Kayla and Colin. Dear sister of Donald Larkin (Cathy), Beverly Gingras (Roland), the late Charlie Larkin (Renee), Bruce Larkin and Brenda Bertrand (late Thomas). Gloria will also be missed by her best friend for life, Lynn Mclaren and many nieces and nephews. Gloria retired from the GM Trim plant in 2002. The family wishes to extend a very special thank you to all of the doctors, nurses, PSW’s and volunteers at the Hospice of Windsor for all of their care, compassion and support throughout Gloria’s journey. If you so desire, donations made to the Hospice of Windsor would be much appreciated by the family. In keeping with Gloria’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family celebration of Gloria’s life will take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE CREMATION CENTRE (519-254-2585).
