Obituary of Deborah Theoret (nee Tiffin)

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on August 3rd, 2019 at the age of 64. This is an obituary for a great strong woman, mother, Grammy, and loving friend, born on December 28, 1954 in Windsor, the daughter of the late Sylvia (Toni) Tiffin (1997) and Herman Tiffin (2006). She leaves behind a family that she was very proud of. Mom was world-renowned for not holding back her opinion and a knack for telling it like it is. She always told you the truth even if it wasn’t what you wanted to hear. With that said she was genuine to a fault, and she sugar coated nothing. Her words of encouragement, wisdom, and sometimes comfort, kept us in line. Everyone always knew where you stood with her. She liked you or she didn’t, it was black or white, but we know she loved us. Fortunately, she went peacefully at her home. Survived by her husband of 46 years, Ronald. She married the man of her dreams (tall, dark, handsome and the boss are his words) on February 10, 1973 and from that day on she was proud to be Mrs. Debbie Theoret, Queen Of All Things Domestic. She was blessed with an angel in dad who became her best friend, personal shopper and caregiver. She doesn't know what she would have done without him and thank goodness she never had to find out. Leaving behind her awesome daughters Chassidy (a character in her own right)and Tiffany. I am sure mom will never apologize for all the plaid outfits we had to wear when we were kids or the awful haircuts we have tried to forget over the years. She will be sorely missed and survived by her funny, warm, and overly generous sisters, Carolan Tiffin , Ruth Pike (Llyod) Dianna Bergonti (Walter). Her handsome brothers Kevin Tiffin (Lisa) and Kirk Tiffin (Kirsten). Her adored nieces and nephews. Lighting up her life were her granddaughters Meaghan, Jocelyn, Celia and Toni-Anne who I am sure she wants to grow up to be the incredible people they are meant to be. You're welcome mom for having spunky grandchildren. Sadly missed by her fur babies Tia, Zeus,Macey and Co-Co. CCAC services were a godsend. The services they offered were perfect - mom was able to have what she wanted, which was to stay at home till the end. The professional and helpful staff and doctors of Hospice . The warm atmosphere they always made for us at home, makes them a special part of our family. Tremendous heartfelt thanks to everyone who provided much more than just comfort for mom, but also provided a sense of humor, peace and tranquility during her transition. Dr. Makinde, mom's primary physician is the kind of doctor everyone wishes they had. He is a warm, caring man who took time with mom; an all-around good human being. Mom couldn't have been in better hands with these people. A private family 'Celebration of Life' will be held, in lieu of a service. Thank you all for sharing mom's life with her. Instead of flowers, I am sure mom would hope that you will do an unexpected act of kindness for someone in her name since she always helped everyone.
