"For someone like myself, that spent the last 7 years battling an aggressive and relentless disease like inflammatory breast cancer, the last thing you want to hear is "she lost her battle…" I choose to believe that like any great story or book or movie, all great things must come to an end. And although not every moment of my life was a fairy tale, the way in which I lived my life and the people I chose to surround me was what made my life more about the good than the bad. The pure and genuine love that painted my life, especially the love for and from my boys, was something that transcends life and is truly never-ending. Although it may seem as though this is the end, also like a good story or book or movie, some of the very best are followed by a sequel. So to my boys and all that made my life great enough to warrant a do-over, I take my leave until we meet again…."
