Obituary of Gary William Downes

Passed away peacefully in his sleep on 15 June 2019, aged 72 years. Loving and devoted husband of Jo Ann, and beloved son of Joan. Predeceased by his father William and brother Dennis. Dearly missed brother of Marilyn (Keith) Bremner, Bill (Mary Anne) and Ken (Shelly), and cherished by his stepdaughters Kristine (Paul) Grierson and Brandi (Marcus) Cambray. Doting Grandad to Holly, Rachel, Avery, and Veronica. Survived and fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews, and especially by his buddy Brian. In respect of Gary’s wishes, no funeral will be held and a memorial will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice.
