Obituary of Barbara Russell

Passed away peacefully on May 23, 2019 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Gordon (2004). Dear mother of Don and Joanne, Randy and Angie, Doug and Gale and Ken and Carol. Loving grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Survived by her sisters; Rosemary, Laura and Anna. Predeceased by her siblings; Domenic (2011), Gerald (2006), Felix (2006), Theresa (1947), Marie (2010) and Rita (2010). Barbara was a teachers aid for many years with the Catholic school board and she enjoyed every day. A special thank you to the staff at Iler Lodge in Essex for all of your care for Barbara over the years. If so desired, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society in Barbara’s memory. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are welcome to join the family on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 834 Raymo Rd., Windsor, from 10:30 a.m. until time of Memorial Mass at 11 a.m. Interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery at a later date.
