Obituary of Vernon James Burton

It is with broken hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Vernon James Burton (November 27, 1953) surrounded by his family on May 2, 2019 at the age of 65. Reuniting with his mother, Megan Burton (nee Hounslow) and brother, Terry. Vern was born in the New Forest, UK where he served in the British Army and was a proud Tiger from 1969-1976 (Private) before moving to Canada. Beloved father to Lee and Kevin. Joyous Granfer to Katelyn, Megan, Jonathon, Leland, Jordyn, and Killian. Survived by his brother Wayne and sisters Susan and Angela as well as his many nieces and nephews. His family will miss his practical jokes and sarcastic ways. As per Vern’s wishes, cremation has taken place. If you so desire, donations may be made in memory of Vern to a charity of your choice.
