Obituary of Gertrude 'Trude' Novak

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Gertrude (Trude) Novak on May 7, 2019, surrounded by her family. Loving mother to Marie Novak (Dave Cabral), Wheatley, and Susan Bortolotti (David), Guelph. Proud Oma to Alex (Stacey Ivits) of Guelph, Claire of Colwood BC, and Adrienne of Victoria BC. Very proud great Oma to Spencer and Adelaide. Predeceased by her husband Frank (1986). We thank the staff at Hotel Dieu-Grace Hospital for their care after her recent fall, and to Dr. Chen and nurses at Erie Shores Healthcare for their care in her final illness. We are also grateful to the staff at Augustine Villa Assisted Living and Retirement Home, as well as Rose Scherer, all who loved her almost as much as we did. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE CREMATION CENTRE (519-254-2585).
