I am so very sorry to have heard of her passing as well as her late husband. They were both very instrumental in my life growing up. They were one of my family sponsors from the refugee camp. So without them I would not have had the opportunity to grow up in Canada. I remember as a kid every year at Christmas we were in the store they owned, i remember the yarn and music books, and me exploring the store. I always received a Christmas gift every year for a long time, and it was always something I loved and cherished. As I got older I know my parents kept in touch with them. But never really gave me updates. Finding this is bringing tears to my eyes, and reminding me of every interaction I can remember as a small child. RIP to a wonderful woman, who I pretty much owe my privileges I have today.
