Obituary of Joann Frances Grace MacLean

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our much beloved wife, mother, sister and daughter on May 1, 2019 at the age of 82, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her loving husband of 48 years Thomas in 2016. Adored mother and mother-in-law survived by her loving and devoted daughter Pat Bruner (Bob) and predeceased by her son Ed (2017) and daughter Kelly (2014) (Theresa Hanna). Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Helen Scott. Also predeceased by her siblings Doris Boyd (Dick), Thomas Scott (Ruth) and Mary Macko (Nick). Survived by sisters-in-law Monica MacLean (Jim) and Heather Penny (Ron). Predeceased by her in laws Andrew MacLean Sr. and Lena. Also predeceased by in-laws Andrew MacLean (Monica), Margaret Osborne (Tom), and Bonnie MacLean. She will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and long time friends. Joann's family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Bergeron, Dr. Cox , Dr. Aoun and the nurses and staff at the Dr. Y. Emara Building, Palliative Care Unit. Special thanks to the Transition to Betterness team. At Joann's request, no funeral service will be held and cremation has taken place.
