Obituary of Michael "Mike" Hoberg

It is with broken hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Mike, surrounded by his family on May 2, 2019 at the age of 71. Beloved husband of 49 years to Nancy (nee Iannicello). Devoted father of Scott (Helen) and Lindsay (Bill). Cherished Papa of Megan, Kyle, Hunter, Emily and Abigail. Dear brother of Martha Lake (Gary) and Mark Hoberg (Wendy). Brother-in-law of Gary and Jan Iannicello. Mike will be missed by his aunt Connie and many cousins, nieces, nephews and his large circle of friends. Mike enjoyed many years of officiating hockey. He was retired from Hiram Walker and Sons Ltd. and enjoyed his winters in Florida playing golf and softball. As per Mike’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at a later date. If you so desire, donations may be made in memory of Mike to a charity of your choice.
