Obituary of Nick Sajatovich
On April 30, 2019 God called him home to the great golf course in the sky. He is survived by his forever love, Anne Mackenzie, his dearly loved children, Todd (Debbie) Sajatovich, Lisa Sajatovich, Lori Rustulka and step-son Chris (Maricela) MacKenzie. Cherished grandfather of Troy (Katie) Sajatovich, Chad and Matthew Rustulka. Great Grandpa to his little angels Brody and Brinley Sajatovich and grand baby Isabella MacKenzie. Dear uncle of Michael (Niki) Sponarski & Marla (Mark) Sponarski. Brother-in-law of Peter (Maryann) Crowe, David (Sharon) Crowe and Jane (Brian) Brock. Predeceased by his parents Mary and Daniel Sajatovich and his sister Goldie Gardilcic. Lovingly remembered by Jennie Sajatovich. It takes a village to help with end of life care. Nick's village included generous friends especially Rose Bettany, tireless caregivers at Windsor Regional hospital, L.I.N.E, St. Elizabeth (especially James), wonderful support at Malden Park and T2B. Nick was a hard worker his whole life and an exceptional athlete in his younger days. He was an avid bowler and played on many championship fastball teams as well as AKO football. However, his real life passion was golf which he shared many outings with his son and grandsons. Nick was also involved in the community having served as a member of Riverside Minor Baseball as well as coaching kids in both baseball and hockey. As a teenager Nick was invited to Tiger Town which was arranged by his mentor, Father Cullen at Assumption High School. In keeping with Nick's wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers Nick would have appreciated donations to Transition to Betterness. Online (t2b.ca/info@t2b.ca). Arrangements entrusted to SIMPLE CHOICE CREMATION CENTRE (519-254-2585). Online condolences and cherished memories may be shared with the family at www.simplechoicecremation.ca.
