Marjorie, what a sad time this must be for you and your family. You and I were schoolmates and I met George when working in real estate and at that sad time I behaved like a brother to him. Seems that in these times experiencing losses in friends and family are really difficult to handle. However WE ARE STILL HERE!!!!!! I respectfully offer my sympathy to you and your family, much love, and God Bless

Marg, David, Jane and Todd: I extend deepest condolences following George's passing. I have many fond memories of George - giving us a "how to" athletic lesson in the back yard or on the driveway on Ypres, golfing and skating at Essex and attending games at the Olympia and Tiger Stadium to name but a few. Also, the opportunity to share in several Robarts' summers in Goderich were indeed special. Discussions with George were never dull! Be they about sports, politics, business or life in general, George was invariably passionate and demonstrative, but always respectful. George often kept me captivated by his quick wit and use of the English language. In fact, to this day, I continue to sprinkle "George-isms" into conversation. I am proud that a part of George will always be with me - a nickname he gave me over 50 years ago continues in use today! George made a lasting impression upon me, both in adolescence and in adulthood. He will forever have a special place in my heart. -Brian Gregg
