Obituary of Marjory Robson

Passed away peacefully on March 24, 2019, at the Windsor Regional Hospital, Met Campus. Her beloved husband Danny was by her side. Marjory leaves behind her son, John (Rhonda), and her daughters, Vicki (John) and Morag (Danny). Precious Nana to Sarah (Adam), Vanessa (Matt), Stewart (Allison), Andrew (Heather), Spencer and Marnie, and one great-grandson, William Robson. Marjory was born in Glasgow, Scotland on July 19, 1930. She loved to go ballroom dancing and during a trip to England, she met Danny when he asked her to dance. This was the beginning of a long and loving life together. Following their marriage on March 28, 1953, they moved to Canada where Marjory devoted her entire life to her husband and children. She loved taking trips back to Scotland to be with her Scots family and friends, and it was there that she was in her comfort zone. For her, it was always Glasgow and Scotland. Danny and Marjory were just four days shy of their 66th wedding anniversary and all who loved her will raise a glass to them both. Marjory's spirit has now been reunited with her parents, John and Mary McGillivray, brothers Edward and John, and sister Morag, all who predeceased her. Marjory, Mum, Nana, we love you and miss you very much! A celebration of Marjory's life will be held on Sunday, March 31, 2019 from noon to 3 p.m. at the Scottish Club of Windsor, 1340 Tecumseh Road East. In lieu of flowers, if desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer Society of Windsor-Essex, or the Downtown Mission.
